Creative Beauty Brands offers full-service product development and contract manufacturing solutions. We formulate and produce hair, skin, tanning, bath & body, and child & baby products for startups, retail brands, salon brands, and large corporations alike.

Formulas & Development

Can I bring my own formula?

Yes. This is known as a Tech Transfer. This comes with a comprehensive review of your formula and procedures to ensure they align with our manufacturing capabilities.

Will I get samples before production?

Yes. Our lab provides samples and works through revisions with you until the formula is approved for production.

Do you offer pilot or small-scale runs?

No. Once a formula is approved, production runs at our standard minimum order quantities.

Scope & Services

Do you offer design or branding services?

No. We focus on formulation and manufacturing. As a Registered Labeler, we happily review your labels for compliance and provide you with this feedback. However, all artwork is customer-supplied and should be print-ready.

Are there any product types you don't manufacture?

To stay focused on what we do best, we don't produce:
• Over-the-counter (OTC) formulas, including sunscreens, acne, or dandruff treatments
• Retinol Products
• Powder products
• Solid bar soaps
• Aerosols

Minimums & Timelines

What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

• Retail sizes (0.25 oz – 33.8 oz): 5,000 pcs per SKU
• Back bar sizes (33.8 oz – 100 oz): 2,500 pcs per SKU
• Back bar refills (100 oz pouches): 500 pcs per SKU
• Shrink wrap services: 1,000 pcs per SKU

What are your production lead times?

30 days once all materials are on site. Specialty or long-lead raw materials can extend this - we flag and plan around them early.

How long does it take to develop a new formula?

Your timeline and goals are important to us. Upon initial intake, we will work with you to establish a path that best suits your needs and desired product type. Some of these core stages include iterative sampling and feedback, as well as required testing.

Testing & Compliance

What testing do you provide?

In-house stability, micro efficacy, and packaging compatibility testing. We also facilitate USP 51 preservative challenge testing to support MoCRA safety substantiation.

Who is responsible for product claims and labeling?

As the brand owner, you are the “responsible person” for the product, its label, and its claims. We support you with compliant formulation, registered-labeler services, labeling guidance, and testing within the cosmetic scope.

Can you provide documentation and certificates?

Yes - testing results, certificates of analysis, and regulatory documentation as needed. Our lab is experienced with FDA registration and compliance processes.

You'll have a dedicated account manager and single point of contact who keeps your project on track and keeps you updated from onboarding through production.

How do I get started?
